A Golf Enthusiast’s Paradise – Where Function Meets Elegance

Our latest project for G/FORE & Peter Millar at Central Chidlom, Bangkok, redefines the shopping experience for golf enthusiasts. As professional interior designers, we aimed to craft a space that not only reflects the premium quality of the brands but also enhances functionality and shopping flow for customers.

Design Concept: Dynamic and Engaging

The design is inspired by the intersection of sophistication and playfulness, which mirrors the brand identities of G/FORE and Peter Millar. Our goal was to create a vibrant and organized retail environment that immediately captivates visitors while offering practical layouts for seamless exploration of the merchandise.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Color Palette: A bold combination of muted grey tones with vibrant accents, ensuring the merchandise becomes the focal point. Bright pops of color from the golf gloves, shoes, and apparel are elevated against the subtle backdrop.
  • Strategic Lighting Design: LED accent lights were meticulously installed within shelving units to spotlight each product, drawing the customer’s eye effortlessly while maintaining an inviting ambiance.
  • Reflective Elements: Mirrored display pedestals add depth and a touch of luxury to the space, creating visual interest and enhancing the feeling of openness.

Interior Design Technical Details

  • Material Selection: A mix of high-gloss finishes and sleek matt surfaces was used to balance the sophisticated yet sporty vibe of the store. Custom fixtures, including metal shelving and acrylic display cases, provide durability while maintaining elegance.
  • Spatial Flow: The store layout was carefully planned to maximize navigation. Central walkways allow visitors to explore collections easily, while dedicated display zones help differentiate product categories, such as footwear, apparel, and accessories.
  • Ceiling Design: An open grid ceiling enhances vertical space and adds a contemporary feel. Integrated track lighting highlights key areas, ensuring a focused shopping experience.

Customer Experience: Beyond Shopping

The design encourages a tactile and interactive shopping journey. From the ergonomic seating at the shoe trial area to the seamless placement of accessories, every detail was considered to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Innovative Highlights:

  • centralized display island that showcases premium products, inviting customers to explore hero pieces first.
  • Intuitive wayfinding elements integrated into the layout, subtly guiding customers to different sections without disrupting their experience.

The result is a modern, polished retail store that perfectly embodies the essence of G/FORE and Peter Millar. The strategic use of materials, thoughtful lighting, and optimized layout ensure a lasting impression, positioning the brands as leaders in their field.
